Maxion Named Finalist in Global Manufacturing Sustainability Award

Maxion reaffirms its commitment to sustainable innovation by earning a place among the finalists of the Manufacturing Leadership Awards 2026 in the Sustainability and Circular Economy category, one of the industry’s leading awards recognizing sustainable transformation in manufacturing.

The recognition highlights a project developed at the Cruzeiro (SP), Brazil facility, which reduced CO₂ emissions through a new industrial washing technology operating at lower temperatures, delivering significant gains in energy efficiency and sustainability.

The results were remarkable: reducing the operating temperature by 20°C to 30°C led to an annual reduction of approximately 341 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent, while also optimizing natural gas consumption and reducing water usage in production processes.

The project also contributed to improved operating conditions, increased thermal comfort, and enhanced safety, while leveraging real-time natural gas consumption monitoring to maximize its environmental performance.

This initiative reinforces Maxion’s commitment to its decarbonization journey and its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.

Congratulations to everyone involved on this important achievement!
