Leaving a Positive Mark on Our Community: Maxion Social Impact Week
As part of the Maxion Social Impact Week, an initiative in which Maxion facilities around the world carry out social responsibility actions to create a positive impact in their communities, the Castaños plant organized a reforestation activity at Ecoparque Monclova.
During the event, more than 50 trees donated by Maxion were planted, contributing to the restoration and preservation of this important space while reinforcing the commitment to environmental stewardship and the community’s sustainable development.

The initiative was attended by Carlos Villarreal Pérez, Mayor of Monclova; Esra Cavazos, State Representative; Gabriela Flores, Director of Ecology; Claudia Mendoza, from the Primary Services Department; and members of the Ecoparque Monclova team, to whom we extend our gratitude for their partnership and support in making this initiative possible.
Our employees and their families also played a key role in this effort. Together, they had the opportunity to plant a tree, interact with one another, and participate in activities organized for the day, turning the experience into a meaningful moment of learning, engagement, and environmental care.
Initiatives like this remind us that creating a positive impact goes beyond our operations. It also means actively engaging with the communities where we live and work, contributing to the development of a more sustainable future.
We thank all employees, family members, public officials, and organizations who took part in this journey. Every tree planted represents a positive mark and a shared commitment to building an even greener and more sustainable community.
