A webinar on the Zero Roadmap was a highlight on World Environment Day

An initiative from the ESG, HSE, and Communications departments of Maxion Structural Components marked the celebrations of World Environment Day, which took place on June 5th. A webinar in a chat format was held, with the participation of various guests and over 400 viewers across all units, including production line employees.

With the theme “Which environment do we choose to live in?” the conversation brought up important points about Maxion’s decarbonization strategy, the Zero Roadmap, as well as electrification, mobility, and specific projects being carried out in the units to help achieve environmental goals.

For the first time, the leadership of HSE from Maxion Wheels Brazil and ESG from Iochpe-Maxion also participated and contributed with their projects and important insights on how we can become more sustainable.

At the end of the webinar, Eduardo Portugal, Director of HSE and ESG at Maxion Structural Components, closed the event by thanking the attendees and delivering a impactful message about the role of each individual in contributing towards a healthier planet.
