At Maxion Structural Components, one of our main values is to care for the communities where we are located. We know our responsibility as a company to generate opportunities, provide support, and provide development for the families of our employees, communities, and local economies. Find out about Instituto Inmagusa and Escola Formare, as well as several other actions developed in our units.
Instituto Inmagusa
Founded in 1997 and with only one classroom, Instituto Inmagusa currently has 749 students and an infrastructure that includes six pre-school classrooms, 12 classrooms at the elementary level, 7 classrooms at high school level, multipurpose rooms for laboratories, English and computing, as well as areas for sports, parks, baseball stadium and parking for teachers and parents.
Instituto Inmagusa aims to give workers an excellent environment for the education of their children. It is a non-profit educational institution, operated without government funds and financed through the company as a direct benefit to the community and its workers.
FORMARE PROJECT
Formare is a social professional education program created and conducted by Fundação Iochpe, a non-profit organization that develops programs focused on the integral development of children and teenagers, through art education and vocational education.
In partnership with medium and large companies from various economic sectors, the project offers professional education courses for low-income young people regularly enrolled in high schools. Volunteer educators are the employees of the partner companies themselves. Currently, Formare is present at the units of Cruzeiro, Contagem and Sete Lagoas.
ACTIONS IN THE COMMUNITY
Our people really work actively to bring help and comfort to the communities where we are inserted. Maxion supports each of these actions. From the collection of food, essential products, to volunteer actions in needy entities, our people are the protagonists in making a difference in the lives of others.
