Resende/RJ Unit Starts Its First Class in the Libras Course
In partnership with Cummins and SENAI, the Resende team started the Libras Training Course – Brazilian Sign Language.
The course aims to train employees to communicate with deaf and hearing-impaired people, promoting a culture of respect and integration. By learning Brazilian Sign Language, employees also gain more logical reasoning and expression skills. Thus, even in conversations where Libras is not being used, it is possible to perceive and capture expressions and gestures, improving communication skills as a whole.
Through this partnership, we join forces with companies that share a commitment to Diversity and Inclusion. Learning Libras is an activity that promotes the social inclusion of deaf people, in addition to being beneficial for those who decide to learn more about this important language for society.
