MAXION STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS LAUNCHES GOLDEN SAFETY RULES FOR WORK SAFETY

On January 31st, Maxion gathered all its leadership to launch the Golden Safety Rules for Work Safety. The Golden Rules are considered non-negotiable. They bring clear guidelines for the main activities that involve work safety, thus providing a safer environment for everyone.

These minimum rules must be followed in all Maxion facilities by all employees and service providers.

Following the Golden Safety is more than an expected behavior. They help preserve health and life for the benefit of everyone close to them, so the consequences of non-compliance are also non-negotiable.

VEHICLES AND MOBILE EQUIPMENT
Never operate vehicles and mobile equipment without proper training, authorization and safety devices. Respect traffic signs.

WORK AT HEIGHT
Never work at heights (= 2.0 meters) without proper training, authorization and with appropriate PPE.

ENERGY BLOCKING AND IDENTIFICATION
Never work on machinery or equipment with hazardous energy. The power state must be ZERO.

HANDLING SUSPENDED LOADS
Never operate equipment for handling suspended loads without offering the necessary safety guarantees.

CONFINED SPACE
Never work in a confined space alone without training, authorization, entry permission and appropriate PPE.

RESTRICTED AREAS
Never work in restricted areas without authorization.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Never improvise tools and equipment during activities.

RISK ANALYSIS
Never carry out work without a Preliminary Hazard and Risk Analysis (APR).

PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION
Never drive in places that are not identified and signposted.

COMMUNICATION OF WORK ACCIDENTS
Never fail to report potential hazards and accidents.
