MAXION HAS BEEN WORKING HARD FOR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
Recently, Maxion took an important step towards a more diverse and inclusive industry, creating the Unique and United strategy. All units in the world are committed to promoting a work environment where everyone can live in harmony and have same opportunities. For this, Committees and several Affinity Groups were created on several important topics. But, do you know how they work? The Diversity Committees are responsible for monitoring and managing diversities and for putting the matter into practice seriously. Therefore, they are created with multidisciplinary teams with people from different areas, including senior leadership. Affinity Groups have been taking a central place in discussions about diversity and inclusion within companies. They can focus on gender, race and ethnicity, disability, LGBTI community, generation, among others, enhancing the sense of belonging, community and identification between participants and the company. In general, the members of the Affinity Groups meet in forums and recurrent meetings to share information, knowledge or to define the actions that can be taken, encouraging the engagement of other employees.
