Audit of the Environmental Management System is highlighted at the Cruzeiro and Resende units

Between the 3rd and 7th of June 2024, BVC Bureau Veritas Certification audited the Environmental Management System – ISO 14001 of the Cruzeiro and Resende units. The Environmental Management System is an operational method that brings discipline and support so that an organization can identify and control its impacts on the environment. It is made up of processes and practices that control the company’s interaction with the environment. Therefore, a serious commitment to more relevant environmental issues is required, such as prudence in waste disposal and, in general, being in environmental compliance. In this context, ISO 14001 is a standard that serves as a guide for implementing and maintaining an environmental management system. For it to be effective, it requires commitment and general responsibility from the organization, in addition to the implementation of the EMS. Proof of the effectiveness of this system is provided by Certification of conformity to the ISO 14001 standard. In this case, the audit carried out at the Cruzeiro and Resende units did not find any non-compliance. We thank and congratulate the Maxion team for the result achieved.
