Maxion Cup 2026
With great enthusiasm, the Maxion Cup was held, organized by the Maxion Institute and carried out in the month of March, bringing together athletes from different educational institutions and sports clubs in the region in an environment of healthy competition, integration, and fellowship.
The opening ceremony took place in March at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Stadium and was honored by the distinguished presence of the Castaños Plant Director, David García; the Human Resources Director, Felipe Arce; the Director of the Maxion Institute, Ana Laura Jiménez; as well as municipal and state authorities: Mayor Carlos Villarreal, Mayor Yesica Sifuentes, and the Governor’s representative, Sergio Sisbeles.
During the formal ceremony, welcome speeches were delivered, the athletes’ oath was taken, and the official opening declaration was made, marking the formal start of this important sporting event.
The flag honors were performed by the 105th Infantry Battalion, giving the inauguration a solemn and meaningful character.
Throughout the Maxion Cup, several sports competitions were held, including:
- Athletics
- Chess
- Flag Football (Tochito)
- Soccer
- Volleyball
- Basketball
These activities promoted sportsmanship, teamwork, and the values that distinguish the Institute, strengthening the interaction and camaraderie among participants.
