Maxion is a finalist in an award in the USA

The components division of the Cruzeiro plant participated as a finalist in the Manufacturing Leadership Council Awards of 2024 in the Digital Cultural Change & Digital Sustainability categories in Marco Island, Florida – United States. In the Sustainability category, the award included the project proposed by the Surface Treatment Engineering team that reduces CO2 emissions at the Cruzeiro plant by up to 1.9%, through the development of a new powder paint formulation that allows the plant to work with lower oven process temperatures. In the Cultural Change category, the finalist project was the DT Academy initiative, which began in Cruzeiro in 2022 and is now being scaled up to all of the group’s plants. Igor Simões, Lucio Gonella and Lucas Quintana represented Maxion at the event. The award demonstrates how relevant the topic is to Maxion and how engaged the company is in the Digital Transformation and Cultural Change of its units.
