In mid-1992 ,the company was the first one in the auto parts segment to receive a certification in the ISO quality standard, then the ISO9001, and since then its system of quality management has evolved through the ISO9002 in 1995, QS9000 in 1997 until it reached the ISO/TS16949 certification in 2002, a mandatory certification in the automotive segment.
In 2002 the company was awarded the ISO14001 certificate for environmental management, being the pioneer certification within its segment and, in 2005 it was awarded the OHSAS 18001 certificate related to the management of Occupational Health and Safety.
Since then, the company has finished the process of implementing an integrated management system (IMS). Maxion Cruzeiro is one of the first companies in the auto parts segment in Brazil that holds an “SGI”, in other words, the company meets the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
Nowadays, Maxion Cruzeiro has the following certifications: ISOTS16949:2009, ISO9001:2008, OHSAS18001:2007, ISO14001:2004. This way, the company manages its quality system in an integrated way, consolidating and meeting all the quality, environmental protection, Occupational Health and Safety needs.
The system of quality management of Maxion Cruzeiro has the certifications ISO TS16949: 2009 and ISO9001: 2008 issued by Bureau Veritas Certification. It is a mature and consolidated system. The system tries to meet the requirements of all the existing international standards; in addition it seeks the satisfaction and success of our customers and shareholders.
The system of health and safety of Maxion Cruzeiro has the OHSAS18001 certification awarded by Bureau Veritas Certification. It is a system implemented effectively and permanently seeking the best practices among its everyday activities of manufacturing products, aiming to ensure the welfare of its direct and indirect employees, thus ensuring operational continuity of the company.
The environmental management system of Maxion Cruzeiro has the ISO14001 certification issued by Bureau Veritas Certification. It is a strong system aimed at preventing pollution and its goal is to eliminate or reduce the adverse environmental impacts.
